Samsung Galaxy S III Mini I8190 8GB Deal

Daisy S "Daisy S" (Hot Springs, AR): Great phone, one of the best, if not the best I ever used! In the past, I owned BIG SCREEN PHONES as Galaxy Note (with 5.3" screen, too heavy and too big) and wanted something smaller that I could hold in one hand comfortably. Since I am a true techie, I researched this phone for all specs as soon as it was released on several websites. Since this phone has EXCEEDED all of my expectations, here is my very detailed review of this very special and fun to use Mini S3 phone. My goal in this review is to help in your buying decision one way or the other regarding this phone.

Max! (Buenos Aires, Argentina): Hola!

Russell Ericksen (New York, NY): Recently my iPhone didn't just crack, it shattered the very first time I dropped it. I've never been opposed to trying an android phone, just didn't want to commit 2 years and a large sum of money to something I could potentially hate, in addition I'm not interested in phones that are approaching the size of my face. In short I've been quite impressed and the transition was simple as pie. This is not a competitor of the iPhone 5, the specs are just not there, this is a competitor of the iPhone 4S, so I will articulate the differences. At the time of writing this, the Galaxy S3 mini is a full $200+ cheaper (around 40% cheaper) than the iPhone 4S yet I feel nearly comparable in quality.

R. Lieber "Teamdeez" (Mexico City, Mexico): Okay, so the phone is awesome. I am an avid iphone user but didn't think the 4s or 5 was worth the upgrade. Plus I can purchase this phone unlocked for 300 bucks and use it when I am in the States or Mexico. The one caveat is this one, (the I8190), won't work with 3g data speeds. You will get Edge data speeds but if you want 3G Data in Mexico Telcel, or At&t in the US, you will need the I8190-L. That model has the 850 band that is essential to the Telcel and At&t 3G network data speeds. If I am mistaken on this fact, please correct me, however my research (and experience) spoke to this being true.

Bright White Lover: Bottom line is the phone functions flawlessly and the Android OS is a breeze. Very easy to learn even if you are accustomed to iOS from Apple. Also has a few great features like NFC, toggling wireless and bluetooth and gps connections from the home screen; also a really useful feature of text to call where if you are texting someone and want to call them, you just lift the phone t

Nelson Herrera: Bought it from Wireless Everything. They had good ratings overall which encouraged me. Very vast shipping. Phone came with a U.S. electricity power supply, no international sockets although it came with a separate international adapter outside the phone box. No seal on the box but the phone was brand new with all wrapping. When turned on, the language was defaulted to English U.S., you just click OK. Color looks fantastic, way better than white or blue. Phone made in China, not Korea, or at least this color. I hope it hold for a while. Not sure yet about the quality of the battery. I will update my review in few weeks.

S. Myers: I purchased this product and made sure it was "Sold and Shipped from Amazon" because I read the reviews about buyers receiving fake knockoffs. However, the product that Amazon sent me turned out to be a fake as well. I purchased the real case from Best Buy and took pictures to compare them. Everything from the box, to the label, to the stickers, the entire case.. it's all fake!

Kenie_519: This is obviously not from the real Samsung. The blue paint chipped off when I peeled the clear sticking off the case when I opened it. Junk.To start with the packaging looked generic. And not even a week into having it on the phone the back started to peel. I think that this is a knockoff and will never buy anything from this retailer again. I love this color, ordered the flip cover in white and green. I like the fact that I can see who's calling without having to flip the cover open.

Sheila Harmon: I ordered this flip cover and initially I loved it. However, after about a week the paint on the back started to peel off. Now it is two-toned because not all of the paint peeled off. I would buy another one maybe just not this brand. It's pretty. That's it. It provides *no protection* for my device. It's safe to say that I won't take a chance with it.I love it and wish had various color offered too so I can purchase more. I highly recomend! and Are you going to add more color

Lionel B.: I spent over an hour trying to decide on what kind of phone to get and it had to be at a good price. I wanted a phone with a flash and a foward facing camera. I came across a few but this one stuck out. I also needed a unlocked phone because I have pre-paid. I was very nervous because I've never owned a unlocked phone before and wasn't sure what to expect. I literally read every review for this phone *the English reviews because I speak only minor Spanish*. I weighed the negative to the postive and decided to order it. It came a day early and I tracked it so I would know when it was in my city.

J. Aguilar "Phone junkie" (Long Beach, CA): I bought this to replace an aging Blackberry Bold. I really liked the Blackberry but needed a new phone with a bigger screen. I compared the iPhone 4S, 5 and the Galaxy Ace 2, and Galaxy SII. The iPhones just didn't do it for me. After you weed through all the hype, its a smartphone that is more trendy than useful. At over $600 for 4S and $800 for the 32GB iPhone 5, it was too costly for the features included. The SII was too large to fit comfortably in my hand and felt like a small tablet. The Ace 2 had all the features I needed at a reasonable price. I've had the phone for 2 weeks and have no complaints. Would definitely recommend over iPhone.

Pats: I bought this phone about six weeks ago, the first 4 weeks it worked smoothly, I was very happy with my purchase and I thought I had found a great replacement for my old Iphone, but then, about two weeks ago, I felt asleep and I didn't charge my phone like I usually do. The next morning when I woke up the battery was dead, it wouldn't charge anymore and Im sure it was the battery because I have a friend with the same phone and I tried her battery in my phone and the phone worked. I left it connected to the power for about eight hours straight and nothing. I had to put the battery in a plastic bag and in the freezer for 10 minutes (an old trick I learned from my dad) and it worked.

Samsung I110 Illusion Pda Deal

Robert T. Arndt "sentient sage" (Bay Area, CA): A couple years ago, the kids and I helped her migrate from the realm of flip phones to the smart phone world, and the Samsung Illusion is the phone that the kids picked out for her as a birthday gift. It was the right choice for the job -- not too complex, not too many bells & whistles, just the right size for her somewhat petite hands, and easy to navigate. Of course, she jumped head first into texting with family and friends.

Steph: This is a great phone, it does everything I need. Plus it gives off less radiation than most phones. It had a good GPU and a great CPU some phones in this price range only have a CPU. The Samsung Processor is one of the fastest in terms of processing multi scrips, some test shows it to be faster than a dual core chip set. Wifi is set to only 25% and its still V fast if on the N setting 15Mb down and up. I have not rooted it yet, but I am sure once I do it will be faster. I would not take a diffrent higher end phone if you gave it to me.

Ajay : I have had this phone for A few days and I am still in the explore Mode; It did not have an operators book and it came brand new. it had books but none to explain its features and how to work its extensive menu items and screens; as well as how to receive calls
and this is only the beginning. I think I will keep it for the internet and for recording music and get A simpler phone for sending and receiving call. It is just Fancy not really for communications.

Samsung Galaxy Note Deal

Anfro (United States): I've had this Tablet for over a week now and have to say that I am blown out of the water by its performance and what you can do with it! To be fair, there were a few laggy areas when I first got it (day after launch) but those have since been cleaned up by 2 samsung updates. This thing is smokin fast now. I don't really use the "My Magazine" app that people are complaining about so I don't have an opinion on that one. But everything else that I use it for is amazing. I really enjoy the web browser that came with it too. I never use chrome or dolphin now.

Beantown Reviewer (Boston, MA): I've been holding off on jumping into the tablet game as every tablet out there was just another vehicle for access to entertainment and "intuitive" decimation of information (which I think mostly means without human thought or involvement). While entertainment is great, my tvs, phones and laptops had that covered. I'd been holding out for a device that could do something those others didn't already have covered. A device that combined time - tested methods (handwriting commits things to memory like typing or finger tapping can't) with modern information and productivity. This tablet is that and so much more.

Gauts "GV" (New York City) : Initial review, I just got it and by playing around and getting familiar with it for 24 hours.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition, (GN10.1_2014) is absolutely amazing. I was worried about the sound quality with the speakers on the side, a big change from the previous model, however I will say that the quality far surpasses that of most laptops. The picture quality of the screen is so eye popping. The build quality is great, it feels solid and has some good weight to it. I have not noticed any flexing, and the metal ring around the perimeter, along with the textured backing, adds to the feel of a high quality tablet.

Samsung Continuum Galaxy S SCH-i400 Deal

Stacy : I have had this phone for two years. Yes, sometimes it freezes and you have to take the battery out but its not that often. I found it very easy to use, battery life is good and I actually bought extra batteries because I use it while hunting and run the GPS feature in it. I have had so few problems with it, it really is a trooper. I just recently set this phone on its charger in a glass of water for 5 hours (used it as a flashlight late at night and in my half awake state didn't realize I had done that). Dried the little bugger out and don't you know it came back on.

J. Mcallister (Alabama): I have this phone for only a year. I had to get 4 replacements and finally got fed up with it. I called verizon for 12 times then they gave me a different phone. The phone would not turn on or off, got blue screens all the time, would select a function and get directed toward a different one. This model does not hold a charge for more than 4 hours at time and had the battery replaced twice. This phone is the worst ever made by samsung and samsung is usually a good brand. The phone also echoes when your making calls or receiving calls. Im just glad im done with this phone.

Historian89 : This product does not even deserve one star, it's a shame you can't give it none. Let me start off by saying that this is the first "smart" phone that I have ever owned. The name "smart" phone seems incredibly ironic and perhaps even cruel in describing this worthless piece of trash. I can honestly say that I have never hated anything more than I hate this item. In fact, I don't believe I have ever truly hated anything until I owned this worthless waste of electronic components disguised as a "phone." I honestly believe that Samsung created this phone to be the absolute least amount of basic system requirements necessary to run a droid OS on, because it does not seem like the phone can handle its own operating system.

Samsung i897 Captivate Deal

The Black Knight (Miami): I bought this phone unlocked because i live in Costa Rica, so i needed a phone which works with the local carrier, and this phone turn to be the best purchase i could do, it works with the 850mhz 3G network of the ICE(Costa Rica s goverment carrier) and the android 2.2 Froyo installed works perfect, with a brilliant 4inch amoled and the fast 1ghz processor. I recomend to buy also an Otterbox Box Case for this device, which fits great. I bought it at $374.99 and is the best deal i could find for a phone with this technical details.

Gio (Tbilisi): After shopping around, I decided to go with the Captivate. I'm very glad I did. This phone is intelligently designed, versatile, has a lot of memory, and very few cons. The display is big, bright and crystal clear. I have froyo (2.2) which seems to have resolved a number of problems earlier versions had.
One bit of advice: before you download any app or upgrade, read the customer comments. They will usually tell you better than anything else whether that particular app or upgrade is a good one. Some upgrades only install more advertising. It's also a good idea to read permissions.

Jonathan (California): I actually purchased this product when it wasn't so old. A recent problem with my phone has made me decide on writing this review on the Samsung Captivate. The phone isn't too bad as it was pretty quick to run everything, took very nice video, and made and received calls perfectly well. The problem with this phone is that there are a few problems which absolutely no phone should ever have to deal with and Samsung has a history of insulting users of this phone for over a year. As for the problems, let's begin.

Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 US 3G Deal

Carolina A.: I bought the phone because it said it was unlocked and it would work worldwide, turns out that the bandwidth that the phone can detect does not support the 3g network in europe, at least in Germany where i live. I bought it expecting it to work properly and here it can only detect gsm signal. So all of the features on the phone work slower and i can't really use it like i wanted. So if you want an international phone do not buy it, if it is for the states i guess it is ok!

Laser Guy: The Samsung Galaxy Ace is a real pleasure to use. It is relatively small and light making it easy to carry. The display is very readable even outside in the sun. Call reception is very good and voice clarity at either end is very good as well. Auto rotation lags a bit and sometimes needs a little prodding. Battery life is great. The camera is good with resolution and clarity more than acceptable. Picture colors can be a little washed out as the auto white balance sometimes has trouble. I've taken to Ace to Germany and Austria and had not trouble connecting overseas cellular services. Very seamless. To date I have not been able to wirelessly connect to my home network and download/upload files.

Mauricio Rodriguez (Merida, Venezuela): Too many and almost all sellers on Amazon are selling the non international version as international. I had bought the international version in UK last year. It should say GT-S 5830 i and not L or anything else. The international version is really the best one and very high quality compared to what is sold here in USA as international version. Beware people !
Most importantly keep in mind its internal memory is very limited 150 MB. It will not allow you but some very small apps to work on your phone. And if the phone does not have at least 35 MB free in internal memory it locks up slows down, goes crazy. a 16 GB external sd card will not help internal memory at all because most apps still require 3 to 5 MB on internal memory.

Samsung Galaxy S Blaze 4G Deal

Dawn H. "SAHM" (MN USA): My Sprint contract was coming up. This time, instead of just rolling over and accepting another 2-year contract (with new "dumb" phone), I decided to look around.
If I would have upgraded to a smartphone with data plan, my bill with sprint would have jumped by over $30 to nearly $100/mo for just my cell phone. So for someone who averages 75 min. talking and a lot of text messages, I couldn't see adding that much to our monthly bill.

D. Peternel "deepeepee" (Milwaukee, WI): I bought this phone with t-mobiles $30 unlimited data/text and 100 minute per month plan for my teenager. It is his first phone and he is used to what my iPhone can do. I was not about to pay contract prices for him. He is a texter and netflix user, not a talker. I believe his unused 100 monthly minute alotment will roll over for month to month, for up to 3 months, so that may give him some extra talk time if he does get chatty in a particular month and its .10/minute after that. Data coverage is good in the area he is in for 90% of his life, but falls quickly when traveling off major interstates and highways, but he still is able to text/talk in most of those areas. He charges the phone nightly and that will get him through the day even with heavier usage.

A. Chan (LA, CA): I have a Samsung Exhibit II 4G which is an awesome phone. I bought this one for myself and it really blows me away. 4" screen is still considered small enough to fit in your jean pocket, very nice design, feel, and look. The screen is really nice and super AMOLED is noticeably better than LCD. But comparing this screen to Exhibit II 4G's LCD screen, I find Exhibit's white is cool white (better), while Blaze's white is warmer white. BUT super AMOLED's color is very good - nice indeed. Also AMOLED seems to be less reflective than LCD. Dual core is fast! Internal (system+SD) memory is about the same as Exhibit II 4G, 1GB+1.6GB, though Blaze has 1GB RAM while Exhibit has 512MB. Blaze does come with a 4G microSD card which is quite useless for me as I bought and replaced it with a 32G.

Samsung Galaxy Ace S5831 Deal

Jairo Nunez "Alejofly" (Cali, Colombia): After a deep research on the internet about new phones, i decided to change mi Great Nokia 5800 for an android based phone. Galaxy Ace was the best Cost-Benefit choice. Big challenge for me to change my Symbian system, because use to be really stable and well done. Comparing the experience with symbian and nokia phones as a reference, the change to Android is awesome. You can feel the difference due to the best hardware set up... 800Mhz processor and 277MB RAM memory. Both, SO and processor make a huge difference.

A. LaVita (Billerica, MA): Only issues so far. The battery seems to last (less as per my expectations) only for 1.5 days with little (1.5hour) wifi and 2 hour talk time (I use loudspeaker so this might be more if you don't) and 2.5 hours of games. Could not get gingerbread installed via Kies (might use 3rd party ROM flashers, Odin??, which seem to be available in plenty)
Note this phone ships from outside US. As advertised you have no warranty and US Samsung customer support won't help as it is a non-us device. So wrt tech help you might be on your own. Or buy the warranty version.
Could not get GPS to work as of now. Need to understand all the settings.

G. Mousinho : The second phone is even worse. First of all, the touchscreen had serious trouble for a few days. The phone was not usable. This issue got solved, apparently by the firmware upgrade. Then, a couple of weeks later, the speaker went completely dead. This means the phone doesn't ring, alarm clock doesn't work, speaker phone gone, music, everything. I found out that a lot of people are facing this exact same phone with Samsung phones.

Samsung GT-S7562-BK Galaxy S Deal

Ben Aissa: I got really excited when I get this phone, it looked cool and sleek... BUT, guess what, it was locked and the default language on this phone was some type of Polish, Russian or some weird East European Language. This made me believe that this phone was stolen by a clerk working for a Russian T-Mobile service provider or some East European National Wireless provider... anyway, I figured out to switch it back to English, to my dismay, the phone is LOCKED and can NOT work on US service providers.

Ricardo: I could not disagree more with the previous reviewer. It sounds more to me like he sucks at the skill that typing on a phone requires, probably not patient enough or has pretty big fingers. It has been a joy for me to use for the last month of having it. I am coming from a Black berry and this has been vastly superior. The touch screen is not only very responsive but you have the built in option of just sliding your fingers from one letter to the other to type which makes if much more effortless than the typical input method and i didn't have to download an app to do taht.

J. A. Calder "jaycee_jm" (Jamaica): Its feature rich and beautiful to hold and look at. Matter of fact just about every one who has seen me with it and played around with it wants one. If you are looking for a dual sim, go no further but even if you are just looking for a single sim its def worth the buy. There is one serious down side but I would still have bought it when I think of all the others pluses - the HSPDA is only a mere 7mbps. Way way too small for a phone of this price and design. The other downers like battery capacity is pretty typical for these smartphones so I won't discredit this model for it but it's really drains too fast no matter how I try to save power. Overall a def 4 stars for me.

Samsung GT-I8190 Galaxy S III Mini Deal

Foglifter (Bay Area, CA USA): This is a truly unlocked international phone, the UI can be set to any language from the long list. It's sad and understandable why Samsung won't sell it in US as it is twice as cheaper than its big brother Galaxy S III. The screen is gorgeous, the phone is very fast and responsive. The size of this baby is perfect for both men and women, unless one prefers all those "bricks" with huge screens. I love this phone!

Hector gutierrez: I've heard a lot of back and forth reviews on this. I love this phone. I live in the U.S. and i have consumer cellular as my phone provider. I bought this phone, stuck my sim card in it, and had no trouble at all setting it up. All i had to do was go through initial set up steps like language settings (it was in English (ireland) and i changed it to english (united states)). Connected to our WIFI and the WIFI at my work without any problems...this phone amazes me with what it can do in a phone that's not overly bulky. My brother got one of these as well and i set it up exactly like mine without a single problem.

DIEGO CIRONE (MIAMI, FLORIDA United States):  bought the International version, sold by Amazon due I read some "1star" comments of different buyers; like users received an used phone, with logos of AT&T or others. This one, sold by Amazon is almost USD 40 more expensive but you'll receive what you want. A new phone, unused, without logos.
The only thing I need to mention is when you turn on at first time, the Languge is in Hungarian (or something like that), I used google traductor to change it to Spanish, the one I need. So this is not a big matter, but I need to mention it.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Deal

Raul G. (St. Louis, MO): The S4 is a really nice piece of hardware. Aesthetically it is light-years ahead of my old Droid. My wife settled on a white S4 which is very clearly inspired by Apple's consumer electronics design philosophy. I settled on the 'black mist' phone and it's equally impressive though a bit more rugged looking. The screen is huge and incredibly clear. In comparing the S4 to the S2-Note the phones aren't that different in terms of dimensions. Though the phone is large it is very slim and fits easily and comfortably in my pants pocket.

Dustin Burkett: The search bar in Google has been refined and positioned to offer more than just a simple click-search function and is called "Google Now". Now your "wall" (whenever you tap on the Google search bar) is a full-fledged hub of activity. Google aggregates important data from your email, social media accounts, weather, GPS and more to populate your wall with instantly relevant and recognizable information. At the end of my workday for example my wall is already populated with my GPS-estimated time to get home, traffic data, and route-avoidance data. If I make a purchase online the tracking data is displayed on my Google wall. If it's a friends birthday it'll be displayed or important appointments and tasks. It's an incredible feature that is quickly becoming my favorite feature of my phone.

Grace D. : I have not owned an iPhone since the 3GS, however, have many friends who use the device and thus exposure to Apple's products and iOS. I won't argue the merits of either except to say that Android is a better fit for me and at this point I can't see myself ever going back to Apple's products. However, I recognize that to some folks Apple is the better solution. For certain I find that Apple's iOS is simpler, probably instantly more easy to use and familiar. Android comes in so many flavors because it is customized by so many different carriers and phone manufacturers. So one's experience with Android is heavily dependent on the phone and the manufacturer of the device unlike Apple who has control over the entire experience.

The problem with this phone is that there are a few problems which absolutely no phone should ever have to deal with and Samsung has a history of insulting users of this phone for over a year. As for the problems, let's begin.

Samsung Focus I917 Deal

Matthew D. Ruffell (Webster, NY USA): I am very satisfied with this phone. The only thing that could be better would be the availibility of phone settings. I think this is a limitation of the Windows Phone 7 O.S. On the one hand, since there are few settings, it is easy to set up. On the other hand, since there are few settings, you can not pick and choose when to use your data plan versus your WIFI during a specific action. It is on or off for WIFI, DATA, BLUETOOTH, AIRPLANE MODE. (My old Nokia had the ability to ask which network to use for every connection, which I liked.)

Attila Yavuzer: I've been using the Focus for about three months now and it's honestly by far the best phone I've ever owned. The screen is gorgeous, the WP7 OS is responsive and intuitive, and most of all it actually works as a phone! As a previous dedicated Iphone owner, I can say that I have absolutely no regrets in switching, and I can see the jealousy of my family (who are still Apple nuts) whenever I let them mess around with the interface.
The only cons I can put against it are that it only comes with 8 gigs initially (which is just ridiculously low these days), but I stuck another 16 in with an sd card I had lying around. Some people seem to be having an issue with not having their cards work, but I've never had a problem. Also-and this is incredibly minor-there's no gapless playback on the Zune software. I know only about 5 people will actually care (or even notice), but it's slightly irritating at times.

Bos Vinamou (Littleton, CO): Two I917 purchases -- first one defective, inaudible ear volume. I did some online checking but was unable to determine if cell-to-ear volume was a specific model weakness. Three points from my ordering experience: 1) check the vendor's return policy before purchasing; 2) when you receive the order check the phone properties first--it's easy to become enchanted with smartphones to the point of overlooking the basic on ear use; 3) buyers should reflect on the liklihood that any unlocked cell listed is actually new.To date I've found my second phone to be sleek, with the Windows 7 system impressive. Apps are increasingly available and diverse, not the walled garden of Iphone.

Samsung Galaxy Note SGH-i717 Deal

Pen Name: I received the phone in brand new condition just like they described. My order can in time and i had no unpleasant surprises. Phone can loaded with honeycomb had to upgrade to ICS but that was easy and fast.
So far so good, no lagging, phone is very fast in any task i want to run. Call quality is good even though it is on the straight talk network. Battery life could be better but that's because of the 4G signal. Face time conversation on google+ are immaculate even with the screen share the phone does not freeze. So far i am very very impressed!

F. Cruz: I am so excited I got my phone a today. I couldn't wait to swap the sim card from my old phone to this one. This phone does everything that they say and more. But I had a problem because my service carrier is T-Mobile and this came in an AT&T packaging, I set up my phone and everything was running smooth except making and receiving calls. So it was time to call T-Mobile customer care to connect my phone for me. That's when the problem started. I was on the phone with a service rep for almost an hour. She did everything she could to connect this phone on the network and it couldn't work. My guess is that this phone is not unlocked because the lady that was helping me told me that there's nothing wrong with the connection nor the sim card but the phone itself is not unlocked so therefore it won't work on T-Mobile network. She said that after she suggested that I should put the sim card back to my old phone to see what happens and the phone worked perfectly.

Erma E.: I am not going to throw any stones yet, I'm going to call the seller and let them know what happened and see what their response is going to be. I gave it a 4 because it couldn't work when it was supposed to but neither than that, I'd have give it a 5 star rating. It's a great phone. Big and clear screen resolution. I can check my email and go on Facebook and You tube even though it's not connected on any network. It really is a kool phone, I like it, no let me rephrase that, I love it a lot. I just wish that my little problem with it is going to be solved sooner than later. Otherwise I will recommend it to anyone especially if your service provider is AT&T.

Samsung S5830EUBLK Galaxy Ace Deal

Jairo Nunez "Alejofly" (Cali, Colombia): After a deep research on the internet about new phones, i decided to change mi Great Nokia 5800 for an android based phone. Galaxy Ace was the best Cost-Benefit choice. Big challenge for me to change my Symbian system, because use to be really stable and well done. You can feel the difference due to the best hardware set up... 800Mhz processor and 277MB RAM memory. Both, SO and processor make a huge difference.

A. LaVita (Billerica, MA): I purchased the ACE for myself 8 months ago and it is so easy to use. It does drink the battery if you are doing alot of internet and application access during the day. All in all this is a great phone with good features and able to run all the Android applications. I love the WiFi because it saves on my data plan. My wife like my phone so much, I purchased a second one this week.I have had this phone for a week or so. Almost everything works fine out of the box.
Android market is full of some good apps. Plus if you are adventurous you can build your apps with Android SDK. They have plenty of documentation and examples.

G. Mousinho: The battery feels "OK". Granted, if you do any graphics/CPU intensive --- which is basically any game on this phone --- it will drain fast. But first of all, I don't think this phone is for people who want to game and also demand good battery life. It's a basic Android phone for those that don't want to (or can't) buy subsidized. It also has Gingerbread, which ensures plenty of life time when it comes to apps. And even after that, there are Ice Cream Sandwich ROMs for it (still buggy, give them time...). The phone is good as it is, but it's nice to have the option. If you use all your regular apps and phone calls, the battery will last. Battery is not a problem under regular use.

Samsung I8190 Galaxy S III Mini Deal

Encrypted11: I do not recommend rooting your phone if you have a weak heart or you're unaware of what you're doing. It may/may not be risky depending on your level of proficiency. If you're wanting to root your phone, keep backups of your files. Make sure you back up anything you don't want to lose.I decided to open up this section of the review since I've rooted my S3 mini after a couple of months from purchase in an attempt to unlock the capability of installing apps on my SD card. Thankfully, this capability does work on the rooted S3 mini!

Daisy S "Daisy S" (Hot Springs, AR) : Just received today, the newest firmware/OS for the 4.1.2 OTA (on my phone directly) as it was updated from Samsung and this is very new at this date of Monday, August 5, 2013 and arrived in my phone's Notification area today. After the upgrade completed, I noticed at once that this phone is lightning fast and the touchscreen is very, very fast and responsive! This is the THIRD update that I received since I purchased this phone in April 2013. Each update is not that large, however, it enhances the performance of this phone. Very encouraged as if the updates keep coming regularly, perhaps

Tabin : I felt that my Samsung phone was a defective one. I have three phones in the family and mine gets dropped calls/inability to text/missed texts etc. I attempted to return this defective phone only to receive an email saying I can't because it's pass the 14 day period. If you review the return policy, you will see it's EXTREMELY difficult (if not impossible) to make any kind of return even for a defective product. If you used the phone for more than 30min, you can't return it without a 50% restocking fee. Wow. Chances are, you will use it for more than 30min. Honestly, I wouldn't buy a phone after reviewing the policy. It is my fault for assuming amazon has a standard 30day return policy and for assuming amazon takes care of their customers. I would rather pay full price at a legitimate store for the warranty alone. Cell phones are never guaranteed to function properly. Do you want to take that $300 risk?

Samsung GT-S7562-BK Galaxy S Deal

J.Isiar Marcano: I purchased this phone for international travel. I wanted a phone with a second SIM card slot so I wouldn't have to remove my primary SIM card and store it while abroad. The problem? The processor is so slow I can't stand the delays. I have laid the phone aside (a total waste of money since I paid full price for an unlocked phone) and went back to my old phone. I'll have to decide whether I want to spend the money on another unlocked phone before I travel internationally again.

Diorely: I received the phone in apparently good conditions, but after 2 hours of being used, no calls, no internet, only looking at the functions, it got blacked-screen. I thought that happened because it needed to be charged, so I left it charging but nothing happeded. It turns on, but you can't see nothing but a slight green-yellow line. I talked to a Samsung technician and he told me it was the screen, and for a "new" phone, it's weird that the screen gets wrong so easy without a crash or a fall, so he thinks this cell phone is refurbished.

K. Tucker: I've been using this phone for 3 months now, and think it's absolutely great, with one exception. Although it's listed as, and apparently has, 4gb of memory, only 1.78gb is actually available for use. As explained to me, this is rather typical of smart phones. In my case however, I really needed the extra memory for my critical applications. Some files and apps can be moved to an SD card. Mine cannot. My Nexus 4 broke the day before I left the country for 3 months, and had this one sent to me overnight. Did not learn of the memory problem until after I left, and then too late to do anything about it.

Samsung Fascinate No Contract Deal

Jiahui Shi "You have just read a review from ... (Upstate, New York): I bought this phone about 7 months ago and I absolutely love it.Before I had a Blackberry Storm, and this is a MILLION times better, and I chose this phone instead of the iPhone because I prefer Android. I really love everything about this phone, only reason I gave it 4 stars is because sometimes it freezes, but then again that has happened to every phone I've ever had. Sometimes it can get a little slow.

Ashley : I love love loved the phone! The uber sexy AMOLED screen is awesome to say the least. I love the quality photos, the macro on the camera is awesome! The video quality is really impressive! Sound quality excellent! Signal reception WOW! Out at our lake property, where most phones struggle for a signal if they even get one... the signal reception was outstanding! I loved everything about this phone! The phone is really easy for a newbie to the world of smart phones to learn. I would give the phone 5+ stars for the AMOLED screen!

Aaron (Ohio, USA): This third phone arrived around the 15th of January and only lasted about two weeks... texts from Google voice were sporadic, and my Navigation crashed every time I tried to use it... regardless of whether I was using Verizon or Google Maps. I again had to start the Verizon Tango, the reset etc didn't work... the minute I fired up GPS or tried to go on-line... crash! Now, I really had a hard time deciding to give up on the Samsung Fascinate, I still say Samsung has the sexiest most vibrant WOW factor screen out there! Uber easy to use even for a newbie! But when the Verizon tech gave me the out... Finally after an extra 12 hours to decide... dumped the most beautiful phone I have ever owned! Feb 1st marked the beginning of a different brand android phone relationship.

Samsung Galaxy S DUOS S7562 Deal

Bod: Got this phone about five days now,did not want to make a review until i played with it a bit.
I must say, if i loved this phone anymore i would have to leave my wife and marry it...well joking there a bit, lol, buy i do love it.
Only reason i gave it four stars is some minor things, like the flimsy looking charger cable, looks real tiny as if it will soon break and the white headset for a black phone.
My last phone was the bb 9860, got this instead as i wanted a dual sim with android and led flash and been able to work as a remote for my smart tv, so far i love it and would buy another if anything happened to it.
It does take a little time to get used to and if you are impatient you may not like it at first as it has so many features and different ways of doing things.

Leduin: I could not disagree more with the previous reviewer.

Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 Deal

I must connect via USB and use the Kies software which is really clunky. But I'm still learning. Overall, I am very pleased with the Ace and would highly recommend it.

So you have a good phone ! but very limited resources for apps. Worst of all. There is NO WARRANTY ! on these phones. Now go figure if its really worth anything.
